Ellen Cooke, MD, DABR

Dr. Cooke graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Notre Dame, where she received a Bachelors of Science degree with double major in Preprofessional Studies and Theology, and Texas A&M College of Medicine, where she received her medical degree. She was drawn to the field of oncology after her mom was diagnosed with cancer while she was a medical student. She then went on to complete an internship at The Methodist Hospital in Houston, TX. She completed her radiation oncology residency at the University of Utah Medical Center/Huntsman Cancer Hospital in Salt Lake City and was named Chief Resident in 2012.

Outside of the office, Dr. Cooke’s hobbies include entertaining two children under the age of 3, snowboarding, world travel, camping, hiking, watching college football, enjoying live music, and photography.

Grant Rine, PhD, MD, DABR

Dr. Rine, born and raised in Wichita, completed a B.S. and an M.S. in Physics at Wichita State University. He then went on to earn a Doctor of Philosophy in Radiation Biophysics at the University of Kansas where he focused his research on Thermal Dosimetry. He earned his medical degree at the University of Kansas and completed his radiation oncology residency at the Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC. Dr. Rine moved back to Wichita upon completion of residency and has served the community as a radiation oncologist for over 20 years.

Outside of the office, Dr. Rine can usually be found playing piano, running, spending time with his wife, restoring antiques or collecting unusual scientific devices.
