The goal of this minimally-invasive treatment is to target cancer cells while minimizing exposure to surrounding healthy tissue. The superior precision and speed of TrueBeam™ means that most patients will spend only minutes per day in treatment.

Using the advanced software programs in TrueBeam™, our doctors can form the radiation beams in different ways to match the precise shape of just about any tumor. Different amounts of radiation can be sent to different parts of the tumor, which helps to minimize exposure to healthy tissue, especially in more sensitive areas of the body.

While we do everything we can to ensure your comfort during treatment, we know there may be times when you need to ask a question. The TrueBeam™ machine has two-way audio and video so you can stay in contact with your radiation therapist throughout your treatment.
